It's also important to arrange for a house key to be left at the property or provided to pest control specialist, allowing them access to your home during the fumigation process. Taking steps will help ensure a smooth and effective treatment.
2- It’s important to ensure safety during fumigation. If you have gas appliances, please arrange for the gas company to turn off the gas on the day(s) of the fumigation. Additionally, all appliances and pilot lights must be turned off to prevent any hazards. Thank you for your cooperation!
3- Before the fumigating crew arrives, make sure to take your houseplants outside to protect them from the chemicals. Additionally, trim back any trees or shrubs that close to the structure, as this will help create a seal for the fumigation tent. A clearance of about a foot around the building is essential to an effective seal. Preparing your space properly will help ensure a successfuligation process.
4- To ensure safety during fumigation, it's essential to store all unsealed food items and medications in the special plastic bags provided by the pest control company. Once these items are properly sealed, there is no need to remove them from your home during the fumigation process. Following these guidelines will help maintain a secure environment while effectively addressing pest issues.
5- Prepare your property for the fumigation crew by ensuring that all doors, cabinets, closets, and drawers are opened inside the structure.
